I'm curious... How is the beta going? At what level is Atola at?

Atola insight is no longer beta, it is released as of November 1st 2008.


It works well, I use only the insight for recoveries, and it gets the job done well.

The file recovery engine isn't the best, but that is because it isn't high priority, there are many softwares that are already very useful for logical recovery anyways.

Automatic diagnostics works very well, it is not perfect, but very accurate.

Firmware repair works well, and the list of supported drives is starting to increase much more.

imaging works great (the only negative is of course, the usb interface) and the media map works well.

the built in current monitor is handy

media scan is useful as well


there are a couple of features that pc3000 has that atola has yet to implement, but my understanding is that they are on the roadmap, and will be implemented in the coming months.

long story short, it is no longer in beta, but is still young, but it works very well now, and it is only going to get better.

Is that statement still valid or is it basically void as most of Atola Insight is done in hardware now (I think I read that somewhere in the forum)?

why a file exel and word can not open in my recovery after. Writings into symbul all. please help. thanks.
