| 4 heads on this, is it 80% or 75%. I'd go with dead, or if it's still reading good data, a very weak head. You have 2 choices - replace the heads - not really a DIY job or sit it out and pray you're not turning ... |

| maybe one head damaged or platter damaged. Sometimes hdd has weak heads with lot of bad sectors area. at this kind of hard drive can't be recovered without proper tools. if you are trying to read it lot of time, final result maybe head clicking. |
