Picture recovery

So i kindof fucked up and delted an picture that i needed.
I imidantly opend my phone and janked out my sd card.
put it into my card reader and fired up Recuva and yes it found it.
But than... i opend picture it sayd, "Windows Photo Viewer can`t open this picture because the file appears to be damaged, or its too large"
Date and everything seems to be there how to fix my friend ?

You need to create an image of the sd card. And then only work on the image!!!
The reason being is every time you access the card directly you will be making minor changes to the data. As the file has been deleted it can easily be overwritten every time the card is powered on and accessed.

If it were me I would create a full image using free software like Dmde. Then mount the saved image in Dmde and scan for your file.

The smartass that i m i didnt create an image.
This happend after using GetDataBack Tho.
I geuss its gone aint it ?

Most probably, yes. Maybe a specialist could recover it, but that is up to you to decide if it is worth the cost.

Or maybe try a raw recovery? On the image of course

Well, in my eyes its already taking way to much time to figger this out,
Thanks for helping really inpressed off all the recovery tools now i know what to do next time.
