I have this drive working normally, detected in ace udma as correct capacity, in windows xp 32 and 64 bits, it is detected as 800 gb, i contacted hitachi , they say that it needs windows 7, I need to recover the data, i think the cluster size or sector size is not as usual as normal drives, any one has knowledge about these drives, it was configured as NTFS, but i think it is not normal cluter size, I used R-studio and some other utilities, it is not finding the data. they say that it is 4K sector size, which software i should use to read sectors as 4k instead of 512 bytes.
