You need to look at the modules using PC3000. If the bad modules are not critical you can re-write them with known good ones.

If you have wrong selfscan script - you must change selfscan script ( see you manual ) Really, to make any advice we must know what happen.

Don't have too many ROMULOS, but usually they don't give much trouble...

If we talked about SMART - well what soft you have for do the job? AFAIK acelab tools can clear SMART easyly...

Hmm... What we can have?

1. smart fail because smart modules not readable - replace not readable modules

2. smart fail because smart modules have bad contents - clear smart

3. smart fail because drive have bads or head bad - repair bads, or cut heads or throw drive to the bin

As i think we have situation Num 2, so my answer -> clear smart...

I'm talking about smart self test routine(s), not smart attributes!
I know how to clear smart attributes...
If you use Powermax to check the drive it starts first a self-test routine. For this drive it is not possible. I tried also MHDD/SMART Test/ 0,1,2 - all fail.
