I had a problem with my Harddisk. This is the my HD:

Model Number WD1200JD
Formatted Capacity 1 120,034MB
SATA

The problem is, the HD is detected in bios, but the volume of the HD is not available in my Windows XP. Checked in Control Panel, Disk Management. The HD is also not available. Also checked with Everest, the HD is not exist.

I get this error with WD diagnostic tools...

Cable Test: Read diagnostics sector error!

What happen? It's available in BIOS but I cannot access the HD to format etc. Any idea? Thanks.

Yes, correct model and capacity in bios. Seem no problem at all in bios. also in windows device manager, it's say it working ok.

Only that no drive available in windows explorer. Checked it in control panel>Disk Management also didn't appear. Any help please.

If data is important clone it now. You can do this one if what you say is correct. After you can use a few DR programs to try and do some recovery on this one. Could be you have some problems in the MBR or even partition or it could be PW locked. This can happen too why you can not see your drive and access data on it. Check this out first but would not work with this drive.
