I have seen a lot of confusion on this forum on how and what exactly we do. I have finally got a chance to clear some air
1. We have 99% of the PCBs out there, and work on ALL of them. If it's out of stock, or we never had it (1%) - we will find it for you. Period.
2. If by any reason we do not have a PCB you need, or a hard drive with that PCB, see #1.
3. If you do go ahead and purchase a PCB from us, we will proceed with FREE Adaptation Service (either move the ROM chip or reprogram ROM [will need your HDD for that]).
4. If you did send your entire hard drive to us:
a. We will make sure that the PCB is, indeed, the failure.
b. Refund you / Not charge for the PCB if it isn't the problem
c. After Adaptation Service is completed, test your HDD to make sure it was successful and there are no more issues.
d. If PCB wasn't a problem or if there is an additional issue found, we will recommend one of the data recovery companies, based on your location. Many of these companies are members of these forums. You may choose to have us forward your HDD directly there or have it returned to you.
5. We have a whole team just "selling and fixing PCB", so your satisfaction is guaranteed!
PS: You may reserve the PCB in advance, on our website, or just fill out the service form and send your HDD in. We will bill you upon service completion. See
http://www.donordrives.com/services for details.
Hope this info is helpful to you.
