Hello All Gurus

Can someone pls explain to me the Bit options for Seagate Format Partition options in terminal ?
the commands we find around
F3 t> m0,8..........
F3 t> m0,6..........
F3 t> m0,2..........

From where is 8 , 6 , 2 ? how does this work ? I don't understand how 8 or 6 or 2 is calculated .

Format Options.

This parameter is a bit significant value that selects the following options:

Bits 31-6: not used

Bit 5: Enable SeaCOS XF Space Format.

Bit 4: Enable Zone Re-format Skipping.

Bit 3: Enable Event-based Format Logging.

Bit 2: Disable User Partition Certify.

Bit 1: Disable User Partition Format.

Bit 0: Corrupt User Partition Primary Defects.

This bit is only valid when the User Partition is selected. If this
bit is equal to 1, the primary defective sectors will be corrupted.

Type: Unsigned 32-bit value

Range: 0 or 0xFFFFFFFF

Default: 0 (Enable User partition Certify,
Enable User Partition Format,
Don't Corrupt Primary Defects)
