Hi there,

The drive : WD10EADS-11M2B3
At power up, it spins up and get ready.

Heads map............................... : 0,1,2,3

head is 0 weak (not bad, but very slow)
Other heads are ok.

If I try to access data, fall in ABRT error

Is the head too weak for data recovery ?

I don't have donnor PCB yet, what should I match ?

If I have to search for donnor heads, actually I search for 5th and 6th char in DCM. Is it true ? extended model is relevant too (-11M2B3) ? head map ?
because I have a donnor with DCM match (patient DGNNNT2CGB, donnor HHRCNT2MH) and donnor is 6-head, while patient is 4-head

Patient :
WD10EADS-11M2B3
Heads map............................... : 0,1,2,3
DCM DGNNNT2CGB

Actual donnor
WD10EADS-00P8B0
Head maps unknown (pcb hs) but probably 0,1,2,3,4,5 - can't switch off Unnecessary heads
DCM HHRCNT2MH

Another potential donnor I have
WD10-EADS-00M2B0
Heads map............................... : 0,1,2,3
DCM HARCHV2MAB

Many thanks for help

There are three option which helps you but first full backup the firmware.

1: Solve Slow problem
2: Translator Regeneration
3: Clear smart with Glist

After that used Explorer mode on Data Extractor to recover the Data!

Need more help I will connect via Team Viewer!!

Huge thank you for your help.

Sorry for not aswer your PM, I'm too new and the feature not avalaible for me yet.

Full backup done with copy 1 (copy 0 is too slow - a week not enough)

1 & 2 - already done, no effect
3 : let's do it !

Edit : 3 Done (Erase G-List), no effect

Solved.

I found a compatible drive
- WD10EADS-11M2B3
- DCM HANCNT2MA
- S/N & DATE CLOSE ENOUGH

I switch heads, and I currently recover data.
