I have this hdd (label says U series 7, model: ST360012A), started normally in terminal (with no error messages), having only 28 entries in G-list. Started SS from N2 and I get this:

Drive hangs here.
Tried to load saved fw to drive but it hung in the middle of the process. Now it starts with preamp error message.
SD tool has a fix called
P Repair, pc3k has a fix called
fix_preamp_bias_bug some guys telling about hot swapping.
Bad luck, I don't own any of these tools, and haven't got an identical drive either. Can I fix it with some free tools? Thanks for any comments in advance.
