This is my first attempt to use the "HDD Low Level Format Tool 4.40" software ...
which failed; displayed the following:

Current date and time: 1/6/2015 7:18:27 AM
HDD Low Level Format Tool 4.40; http://hddguru.com
Device details for [1] Hitachi HDS721616PLA P22O [160.04 GB] (312581808 512-byte sectors)

Details are unavailable: Internal error.
