Do you have something like WDMarvel ?
I guess it should be easier to use for a starter.
Ideally you would get a PC-3000 because of the manuals and support but lacking that i guess you should start by simple jobs and move to the ones you don't understand/are more difficult later.

WDmarvel Vs trex will lose
all these tools is rip on TREX
and any tools without information is useless
i know m ost trex command , it's factory software

AUTO TREX "might" be good for ARCO and stuff like that but if all that you want to do is fix some bad modules or write ROM or use a slow fix a nice GUI like WDMarvel might be better for a starter.

Also MRT, PC-3000, HRT, ETC will have hardware assistence while TREX you will have to connect the drive to the motherboard and you might have issues with drives that are busy or responding slowly.

Also you can't clone/image with TREX.

But if you want to share a AUTO TREX please do so ...

Just don't ask $$$ for it as it's WD propriatary software ...

trex is for repair not for data recovery , and yes all tools complete each other

i just reply for cdma-india Question
he need to work with trex
i have my own updated version
and i have my own script
i try to help him
i'm not here to share or sell Trex with or without $$$$

That TREX was posted on the file section on 13 Feb 2014

OP is talking about updated version + special scripts to run ARCO on automatic way.

the difference is in original factory FW
and new script
old trex didn't have these script
