+1 Always take care of Sysfile 93 before cloning on these drives.

I wouldn't count on economic success if you routinely provide the recovered data for the customer or his friend to verify as okay. It might be a better idea to provide a listing of files (using snap2html) and thumbnails of pictures (I take a video of Picasa while it quickly scans all the picture thumbnails) and only release the data once the customer accepts that the recovery is a success--by paying before releasing the data.Thanks for your help. The case ist technical successful. Now it should be economically successful too.. the customer took the hd after diagnosis and said he will double-check it.. a friend of him will try it.
