Recover Data: Hitachi ARM Missing PCB

So far, I heard there are guys who can resolve Hitachi-ARM, TOSHIBA-Native Hitachi when the original PCB is missing.

Recently, I outsourced a Native Hitachi-ARM (Toshiba label) hard drive where the ROM chip was dead. To a expert who claim they can fix it. But after certain period of time, the feedback is - it's not recoverable.

If there is anyone who has the know-how and experience how to deal Hitachi ARM HDD with native pcb missing or native ROM chip damage, PM me. Or write here

I Too Had a Case .This is The diagnostic By Me ,Native PCB Dead ,DrHDD even The RAM Blasted .Tried The Native ROM " With " Inbuilt NVRAM Totally Dead ,Tried Reading Externally On My Elnec Programmer Also ,It Was a 500GB Hitachi Arm Series .I Returned The Case Back To Customer Due To The Fact i Did Not Have Time To Invest in Research ,Can You Handle This Case ,Might Be i Can Recommend Your Company And Name To My Client .I Want Him To Get the Data Hence i Am Not Interested In Any Marjin Etc Or Business Cut ,PM Me DrHDD

I've heard that few people can recover if ARM ROM Chip is damage/missing.

In practice, I found drHDD can do the job.

He has recovered one of my case.

And he proved in his job, not only word.

I haven't had a paying client to support the research of such solution and i had no spare time to sacrifice, so abandoned the research, however i have some ideas...
I did a lot of progress with hitachi ARM series, so i might give it another shot one day...

I have a simple question about Hitachi ARM - Toshiba - Seagate adaptives for you guys.
When rebuilding adaptives for these drives, the result will be identical adaptives as they were originally, or they will be just a bit different from originals but enought to make hdd work properly?
I think you can answer at this questions because i'm not asking secrets about this argument.

I can only answer the seagate question, as the hitachi is not yet researched, as i said above.
With seagate some of the adaptives are same, some are not, but good enough to work with them.

You Had To Rebuilt ROM Or Long Time Back You Were Talking About Directly Reading User DATA By PBA Access Etc ,Cannot Find That Post Yet ,But i Can Dig It Out For You .I Am Now Slowly Setting Up New And Bigger Larger office.Once Its Ready i will try and catch up all missed posts and beautiful conversation we all as a community have

drHDD, Hi drHDD I have the same issue Hitachi HDS721010CL is missing a BIOS chip. I want the data recovered but with the NV-RAM rebuild it is not possible to ready anything from the drive at all. Please let me know if you can possibly rebuild the NV-RAM than I can send the drive off to you.

yes, i meant i recovered the NVRAM contents and then the data as well.

I have recovered some Samsung , Fujitsu , Hitachi , Toshiba (rebranded hitachi) 3.5" , WD with lost Rom + mixed PCB s . Never recovered Seagate ( headache always for me) .
