Flashing 2TB HP MB2000EAMZF aka ST32000644NS with Seagate

January 11th, 2017, 5:33

Hi

I have an HP enterprise hdd that cant be flashed to latest firmware due to not having an HP server (some stupid requirement of HP raid controller). Anyway, I wanted to ask if anyone had experience cross flashing this ST32000644NS with the official FW from Seagate?

Would the disk work normally? I am of course not keeping any data prior to the flash but dont want to brick it.
