I'm still on an older version of PC3K because the new version is too buggy for me, so I'm not sure.

Aren't the Gold labels supposed to be the really high end Western Digital drive? I guess it makes sense that they do this by putting a WD label on a HGST drive.

not important really.
i bought few drives (As they said designed for servers use) and finally found its a Refub. drive (and from the old damn stupid type)

Can you please tel us what version you actually have and what version you find buggy .I am myself on version 6.1 and not on 6.2 .I will pay for update in April 2017 For 1 Year UDMA-e TS And Software Update.I am Sure this is a Hitachi Seeing The Screws when we do physical head swaps

I'm running 6.1.14 and will stick with this for a while. The newer version has nice additions like being able to decrypt Filevault on the fly etc, but I just had too many issues. I'll try the next release when it's out.
