 Post subject: SAS drive showing up in device manager but not anywhere else

In windows 10 I've installed a SAS controller to access a SAS drive. I can now see the Hitachi drive in the Device manager but I can't access it with any software.
It doesn't show up anywhere else in windows.
Anything else I can try at this point?

I restarted the PC a couple times and it finally decided showed up as expected.
