As lcoughey has suggested diskpatch could be alternate suited for me.
As spildit has suggested both hddsuperclone and ddrescue are alternates for bigger size cloning but buying DDI3 used is fantastic idea as it will help in data recovery as well. If anyone keen to sell sparingly used DDI3 , pls. PM me.
my answer to fzabkar's question may look strange , I am looking for dos based tools because at a times I get cloning work for hard disks smaller than 2GB ./ SCSI /CF cards etc. Yes these disks are from old automation equipments like PLC, industrial pc's etc.
I have another good dos based tool ,but it is also phased out by developer .
HD duplicator has came with power controller circuit which I have never used.
