I don't know, he sends me PM's, I tell him things, like there is an offer here and he just responds with more question.

I asked for his CBL case number so I could inquire with them on his behalf and the number he provided is not known to CBL.

That´s my feeling also. Just someone without nothing better to do that keeps asking question to see how long can he string the people on the forums.

At least in my opinion, if he took it to some data recovery firm that could image a damaged disk, they would have recovered his files or told him it was not possible.

And if he really wanted help, he would pay attention to the answers to his questions and follow up with coherent questions, not repeat them again and again. Sounds almos like a language-processing robot, working after some kind of input parameters are set.

I've actually PM-ed DrHDD but there's no reply though. The situation is real and i'm in a fix as to how to proceed further. Pardon me for asking so many questions as I need to find someone reliable for the next attempt as this is the 3rd try. I don't want to risk the HDD deteriorating further..
