Instead of disabling the capability of the drive to handle the Security by Congen just get rid of the password to start with, either by ZOC script or by reading/editing the correspondent sys file ...

Thanks Spildit
Which Sys File Number?

Depends of the problem with the drive.

Maybe bad heads ?
Maybe bad surface ?
Maybe firmware problem ?
7200.11 might have LBA 0 or stuck at BSY.
7200.12 might have partial access problem.

:D

But there are 2 easy ways to "fix" this.

1 - If you don't need the data buy a new drive.
2 - If you need the data send the drive to a pro.

:D

i'm sure all 7200.11 have full lba and also 7200.12 dont stuck in partial access

So what is the problem with the drive ? You can't read some sectors ?

Buy Hitachi/HGST instead and don't use Seagate ever again, or at least anything newer than 7200.10 (ST-10)....

i solved read problem in 7200.11
i cleared P List with
/1G6A
then rebuild P List
/AP
then Rebuild translator with
m0,6,2,,,,,22 and then
m0,6,3,,,,,22
and problem solved for 7200.11 all lba is accesible
but this method dont work on 7200.12
why?

I hope you were just trying to refurbish that drive and not get data back. It's gone now.
