Hi guys,

I have 1 drive WD1001X06X Dual Drive SSD/HDD and the heads are weak.
Does any one know what SATA model is compatible for Head Swap without the same model, because its very expensive?...
SSD is okay the HDD needs to replace the heads.
I apreciate some help in this case, thanks in advance :)

What's the aerial density of the drive? Sometimes by just matching that you can cross match heads between families.

According to this review, the drive is a 1TB WD Slim:
https://www.eteknix.com/western-digital-black%C2%B2-dual-drive-120gb-ssd-1tb-hdd-review/2/

The DCM of the WD1001X06X-00SJVT0 hybrid drive is HHVJBHO. FWIW, the same DCM appears in WD10SPCX-08HWST0, WD10SPCX-11HWST0, and WD10SPCX-75HWST0.

I have written a tool which extracts certain information from the ROM.

WD1001X06X-00SJVT0

Code:
Analysing active 0x0A module ...

Head map checksum (Expected / Actual) = 0x0000 / 0x0000 - OK
Number of heads (physical / in use) = 4/4
Head map = 0x0F

      S B L P M H C R V K U
      | T | T Z T Q D S J E

DCM = | T | T Z T Q D S E
      : : : : : : : : : :
      : : : : : : : : : unknown
      : : : : : : : : top VCM
      : : : : : : : ACA
      : : : : : : preamp
      : : : : : HSA
      : : : : media
      : : : bottom VCM
      : : latch
      : base
      spindle motor

Analysing active 0x47 module ...

Preamp values
------------
0  951B 0837
1  951B 0A33
2  3512 0839
3  A41F 0439

Does any one swap the heads from this drive? inside doesn't have space to remove from the parking area to outside.. the chassi is very close.. This one will be complicated even when i get the papers in the middle of the arms.
