 Post subject: BSY Fix and Lost Partitions

seagate st31000528as
bsy fix executed by user. with no success.
Now Hdd seems but data lost. sector readable.
he says there are more than 700 gb data in it.
there are some bads at the beginning and all bad after the 699 gb.
data can't visible at all. All LBA with 0 except first. Why?
because of MFT record area has bad sector?

are you absolutely sure that all LBA's are zero 0000 ?

What does it really mean when you say, "BSY fix by the user?'. What exactly did they do?

he clears G-List by i4,1,22
and translator regenerate by m0,2,2,,,,,22

sectors aren't partial now. it's readable... but the data flys..

i think last heads gone...

Are there errors in the terminal ? Has the user tried the "brilliant" idea of formatting the drive to try to recover it ?

No.. no terminal error
and it can not be formatted because drive was not visible on device manager..
he said that he don't format ..
