I Have A Few Seagate Slim Series HDD with Different Terminal Reports ,Can You Folks Help and suggest Me If Replacing Heads Could Help In The Case Or Its a Firmware Nightmare :lol:

Problem : Drive Clicks " ST1000LM035" ,Can a Head Swap Solve This issue or then i will get stuck in a firmware nightmare issue

Problem : Drive Starts , Reads Firmware ,ID's Fine ,But Then Keeps Clicking ,Will Head Swap Solve This or Again i will be stuck in a Situation of a Firmware Issue

All three drives were able to load majority of SA, so I would guess the heads are fine on all three

Good Morning Sir ,The First One Does Not Click ,The Second One Is Clicking ,the third One Clicks After Reading Some SA and Keeps Clicking

I can see that but it does not change the fact that they all we able to read DiscFW and translator

Second and third are clicking on accessing media cache, maybe some servo issues there

Thanks For the support Always Appreciate It As a Junior In Field . I Have Ordered Some Head Replacement Tools For The Same Series Drives .I Have Also started To Collect Some Donors For The Same ,Lets See What We Can Do in The Coming Months With these Drives .I Would Be Investing in a Logic Analyzer Soon For RE Some Stuff Here And There But Basically For Monoliths
