As a general rule, locate a photo of a SATA PCB with the same MCU, and then follow its SATA Tx/Rx differential pairs from the MCU to the SATA connector.

It's not the same MCU (88i1022-NDB2 versus 88i1025-NDB2), but it looks very similar:

You quoted Seagate Rom and PCB above are of Samsung USB. both are different.

As I said, it's not the same MCU, but its pinout is similar. This means that the OP need only follow the 88i1022 MCU pins to the SATA connector. The 88i1025 CPU will most likely have exactly the same SATA Tx/Rx correspondence.

I was not suggesting that the two PCBs were interchangeable.

Yes, but which one has the OP's MCU and motor controller (assuming I've read the part number correctly)?

I'm pretty sure it's PCB number: 100731207

I've been keeping a list of those on my forum too: https://www.data-medics.com/forum/samsu ... t1438.html

I had already seen your database. Thanks. However, your PCB has an 88i1022-NDB2 MCU whereas the OP's appears to be 88i1025-NDB2.

100767980 and probably some others (aka SATA M9T BP) has 88i1025
