Rom corrupt hdd

Why do you think ROM is "corrupt"? I have never seen that on this model.

ROM is unique to drives that are members of "WD Firebird" family, like this one.

Tried reading rom by terminal but only IC detect contains shows zero
head ok confirm in another hdd

If HDD is spinning then ROM must be ok. Start with the ABCs of HDD working processes.

What tools are you using to read the ROM?
