Which tool did you use to set a password? BIOS or something else?

If you decipher the OP's SMS-ese gibberish, you will note that the drive is a WD My Passport. MHDD does not handle such models, nor does it handle USB drives.

When you have forgotten your lost password, you can erase the drive by entering five invalid passwords on the Unlock Drive dialog.
