Hi
I'm looking for a good donordrive for a headswap:
WD3200BEVT-22ZCT0
Date: 04 may 2008
DCM: HBCVJBBB
PCB: 2060-701499-000 REV A
second PCB (on sticker): 2061-701499-500 AA
According to PC3000 head 0 and 1 are defect. One of the heads was stuck and i got i lose without damaging the platter but i think the heads were damaged (not visible under microscope)
Hope someone can help me out

what happens when you power on as you said Heads are good (you had checked in microscope) power Drive & check Hard Drive Behavior....

Heads are not good. Heads 0 and 1 are probably defect. When i do a headmapping in RAM with pc3000 UDMA the headstack make different kind of noices but nothing is been read. So i guess the most effective solution will be a complete headstack with a donordrive and exact same specifications.
