 Post subject: Seagate F3 ST31000528AS ABR error

Hello Sir,

Seagate F3 Pharaoh 1TB disk and model: ST31000528AS spinning well shows id details also. But in data extractor "Error - Set UDMA = UDMA133" this error comes.

Terminal messages are given below:

Rst 0x20M
(P) SATA Reset
PASS
RW: Error processing Performance Parameter File: 203C
Send Status: COMRESET seen
Starting LBA of RW Request=74706DAF Length=FFFFFFFF
ProcessRWError -Read- at LBA 74706DAF Sense Code=C3160080
FAILED to spare!

Starting LBA of RW Request=74706DAF Length=FFFFFFFF
ProcessRWError -Read- at LBA 74706DAF Sense Code=C3160080
FAILED to spare!

Starting LBA of RW Request=74706DAF Length=FFFFFFFF

InitiateMarkPendingReallocateRequest for disc_lba: 74706DAF
FAILED to spare!

and 3 status registers shows DRD,DWF, DSC and in error register ABR shows at time and T also not getting.
In sector edit not accessing sectors because of ABR error...

How to solve this problem???

CLEAR glist and smart then reset hard disk and give transltor


203 eroor is normal

Thanks for reply..
I did clear g list and SMART and translator regeneration.
Now disk has clicking sound.
and still in terminal same message shows as follows:

Rst 0x20M

Send Status: COMRESET seen

Well,
Its a issue with reallocation of media Cache ,You people have a habit of doing smart clear clear glist and translator for every case that comes your way ,This is absurd .In Every forum you are advising people to do this without using 1% of your brain ,Before you clear smart you should first check if indeed thats a issue ,Ditto with glist and translator ,you people are funny .
