If I remember it right, it is an IDE drive, and you can find adapters to a notebook ide form factor, or usb ones.

Here is a thread which indicates that the MK1234GAL was used in a Sony HDR-XR155 Handycam:

Here is the pinout of the 40-pin ZIF connector:

Maybe it can help you out :)

Long time no see !

Fun fact, I an external security / data protection compliance consultant for that company. I've also asked them for an adapter, but I fear that the pinout for this disk may be diferent from the ones they used, since this disk was from a Sony video camera.

I'll grab it tomorrow and I will test it and report back!

The following threads talk about replacing the CF card in an Acer Aspire One A110 netbook with either a Samsung HS030GB or HS06THB PATA/ZIF 1.8" HDD:

Acer Aspire One AOA110L (a.k.a. zg5) - replace SSD with Hard Drive:
https://linuxforums.org.uk/index.php?topic=11561.0

Modding the Acer Aspire One - hard drive (Samsung HS06THB):
https://tnkgrl.com/2008/08/16/modding-the-acer-aspire-one-hard-drive/

Samsung's datasheet would suggest that both models are Spinpoint N2B:

Spinpoint N2A/N2B - Ultra mobile PATA/ZIF - datasheet:
https://www.seagate.com/files/www-content/support-content/documentation/samsung/HS04THB.pdf

Here are the circuit diagrams for the netbook's motherboard:

ACER ASPIRE ONE A110 A150 QUANTA ZG5 REV 1A SCH:
https://elektrotanya.com/acer_aspire_one_a110_a150_quanta_zg5_rev_1a_sch.pdf/download.html
http://monitor.espec.ws/files/aspire0nemb__rexonavn.com__361.pdf

The connector pinout seems to match the Toshiba's (except for pins 41 & 42 which are probably an error in the drawing).

Hey again,

So, the pinout provided by Frank was correct.

Imaging the drive now with MRT.
