From what I can gather the above tests show that I only have one head ? Is this correct ?

No. ISTM that all heads have similar characteristics. :?

Alternatively, it may be that the serpentine segments are very large (like Samsung's) and you could be seeing the first head only. Try a much larger stroke, eg 20GB, or even larger.
