dead WD20EARS - PLEEEASE help.

Hello to everyone.

I badly need help.
I've got a dead WD HDD because of an overvoltage (12V on 5V input probably - I plugged a different power supply in my HDD external enclosure, A power supply with the same 4-pin connector but 12V on each pair, instead of 12V on one pair of connectors and 5V on the other).
The hard drive is dead and doesn't spin at all since then.
I connected it to the SATA port in my PC and the PC doesn't start while this HDD is connected.

Hard Drive:
Model: WD20EARS-60MVWB0
Date: 31 IAN 2011
DCM: HARNNTJMAB

PCB Info:
2060-771698-002 REV A

By observation with bare eyes you can see the corrosion/oxidation signs within the red spots I circled in the image below, including the part that is used to connect to the HDD.

I red some things on this forum and have this data (maybe it helps):
- Diode D3 - continuity in both ways
- Diode next to R64 - it reads 0.58V the normal way. Nothink the other way around - it should be OK, right?
- R64 - 0.1 Ohm
- R67 - 0.1 Ohm

Hopefully you should get away with simply removing D3 diode.

D3 ( 5V ) the other would be the (12V).

Remove the upper right diode should do the job. (replacing recommended).

Then I will take out D3 and hopefully the HDD will be alive again.
