Hi all,

As we don't have a PC3K yet, are there any alternatives for reading head microjog values, for use in matching donor heads, aside from the PC3K or similar expensive systems? Is there any freeware or less expensive apps or hardware setups that can be used? We do have a DDI4.

Thanks in advance.

So, in this example, in the WDMarvel Demo SA adaptives editor window, which exact values shown are the ones that I'm trying to match within the 100-300 range, in terms of Microjogs?

The MRJog parameters ?

Yes, so in that example, if we take Head 0 with the MRJog Parameter of 1AD9, how do we translate that into a regular number, that we then determine if it falls within 100 of donor head 0?

I believe that the correct microjog values in that example are 0x091A and 0x0912. The remaining 4 heads are not present -> 0x0B00.

Well, I guess I must be that stupid, thank you for pointing that out jermy, but I'd appreciate a helpful explanation if someone would care to do so.

In other words, when I see, say a screen shot of a PC-3000 interface, it shows an actual 4 digit number that can be used to compare MRJog values. I know right away that it falls within the threshold or not. A value listed at "1845" is within the target of "100" of a donor head listed at "1880". I simply don't know how to interpret a value like 1A09 yet. I guess I need that very basic lesson.

Thanks fzabkar. So I see that the remaining 4 heads are not present due to values there, but I don't yet see how you interpret Head 0 at 1A09 to be 0x091A, or Head 1 at 1209 to be 0x0912. And even then, how you would determine if the donor head was within range, since the desired range is, let's say "100". I must be missing something really obvious I guess.

The numbers appear to be little-endian.

Thanks Blizzard. I think that's what I was looking for.
