But, read User Area show ABRT Flag, and cant write also nothing, also ABRT flag.
And, maybe you're right, just a question, how to unlock it?

i am saying that the disk is in the write protect state not because of the password, but from the damage in the SA or because of the faulty PCB

I don't know.
It would be possible to try to get access to the terminal.
get out of memory sector S and out of it pull out password
(With the correct password, the minimum should work ATA command 0F2H)

Well, SA(Rom content is ok)
I can Read SMART, And Passport.
Terminal is Blocked,
I dont know how is correct password.
My Toshiba disk reacts identical like Toshiba MQ01ABD032VS Series. Only VS Series not is locked by password, only lock in ROM.

I've got many drives of this model, but no one with AX1P5E firmware. Check on the label is this the correct FW.
If yes , remove the PCB and conect it to the terminal. After a few minutes the drive will react to VR or VM command and report FW like AXGP5E. This will indicate that the PCB is OK. Use Victoria to read the passport of the drive. Check the Serial Number reported against the SN on the label.

Moltke friend yes change this values. And change also power on time attribute. BGman fw on label is ax1p5e but in rom code is axg5e also I see. But everywhere my Toshiba detect with fw ax1p5e. Later attach picture with my disk.

Ok, but not have PCB G003235C, only G003138 from older ABD and ABD Vs Series.
I can resolder ROM chip to other PCB like G003138 and see reacts, if block is in ROM or Security Sector.

I test with G003138 from older ABD and Spindel running but clicking of course not solder correct rom only test.
Try it, and this will exclude if block is in ROM, or Sector Security.

But i still can watch Smart, Super ON feature momentally show ABRT/ERR flags.
test react from PCB G3138A, and this is not compatibile with my original ROM, Disk is in BSY State and nothing else.

I test also react the same PCB without disk, and also test same pcb without disk(old ABD series)
and my insights are
That same pcb is very slow, and if is RDY/DSC state, this only need to click detect disk, this active flag DRQ.
And in both pcb's are the same react.

zu does not use 8e, and super-on's has more than one.

The pointer to the SA in different rom is not required to match, so the permutation
the pcb may not give anything.

Why did the ZU work for 30 minutes?
And you can always take advantage of other programs that can.

Well, that's bad luck. Write technical support for these programs.

Maybe Toshiba has changed the SuperOn command for its new drives.
In this case you have to use the COM port terminal to set factory mode and then to try clear PWD.

It would be nice if somebody having such drive check its response to standard SuperOn command.

Do you want to try a very stupid thing ?

Check with Hitachi ARM SeDiv tool and see if the drive accepts the Super On.

This is silly but ..... just to be sure.

No problem, i can test.

I'm not talking about the model, I'm talking about the FW revision. Can't you make the differance?

ALL Toshiba drives have terminal support! Even if you remove the Flash chip !
Sometimes it takes a few minutes to get ready, but eventually they do respond!!!
Two reasons for slow response :
1. Non-native PCB
2. Too many deffects in the lists.
