How to format Laptop SATA HDD protected by Bios Lock

Hi all, I am new to this group, i bought 500 Laptop SATA HDD with Bios Lock, Would like to format, please help.
Even connected in 2nd or 3rd hard disk also while booting the msg shows " Hard Disk xxxxxxxxx-xxxx is protected by a password. Enter the password or press <ESC> to exit. (Disk remians locked if <ESC> is used). Please help how to format, i dont want data.

You can start by actually telling us what type of hard drive it is.

I have Seagate Momentus Thin- 320 / 160GB GB SATA Laptop Drive, Hitachi - 320 GB - P/N:H2T3201672S, 7K500-320, WD - 160 GB - WD1600BEKT....

If you want to unlock a lot of hard disks like that, they your best option would be to buy an adequate firmware tool, like Sediv ( about US$ 400, I think ) .

use SEDIV to overcome bios password problem.
