I have got a Toshiba MK1002TSKB 1TB SATA2 7200rpm 64MB Enterprise Hard Drive for recovery. In udma ,it shows G-list corruptiom.
In D.E ,I have used reading through active utility ,considering G-list corruption. Now I have sector access but disk is showing large defects.
besides Data to be recovered is large almost 900GB .
I would like to know how to correct G-list corruption. I have pc3000 UDMA & Disk is connected with serial connector.
Thank You.

Could we see the G-list module. I have written a tool to analyse some Toshiba Glist types.

Your tool is for 2.5'' Toshiba drives. This is a 3.5" drive, so it's Hitachi...

Wrong again. This is a native Toshiba HDD. (Can you get anything useful from a Hitachi drive via its serial terminal connection?)
