 Post subject: WD WD20NMVW spin up, but not recognized

Hi.
I have a WD My Passport Ultra with a WD20NMVW 2TB inside.
The hard drive spin up, and after 1 minute spin down. The USB interface is recognized for Windows, but the volume and drive don't appears.
I try change the PCB with bios chips SWAPS, but same results.
Mac detects the usb as:

Hi.
Thanks u for your response, i will should contact with a specialized data recovery service.

Another thing:
Windows recognized a WD Ses Device, and if i try update firmware, the tool detect the serial number, firmware version, ...
The WD Firmware updater detect a upgrade, but when try to update fail.

Did you swap the chips yourself? Or you sent the PCB out?

As said earlier, the fact that it spins down most likely indicates the heads/preamp is bad.
