windows 10 storage spaces.

quick question... i was using storage spaces on windows 10 when 1 of the drives failed.... 2tb x 2 = 4tb.... no resiliency.. just to increase size.... one of the drives has failed... the data was not important and im not trying to rescue it... but i'd like to rescue the other drive to repurpose... but windows still sees it as part of a storage space... what software do i need to use to use it again... thank you.

after removing it from the pool, or deleting the pool, cant you use diskpart? a bootable disk, and remove all other disks would make it so you cant mess up and format something else would be a good idea..

basically something like:
list disk
sel disk0
clean

you can either partition and format it in diskpart, or use windows afterwards to do it.

If you can't remove it from the pool, this may help

I wouldn't touch win storage pools with a barge pole.
