It does have MANY PROBLEMS but it should be able to help you out refurbing drives at least in a better way ...


It's a 'software', and now additional hardware is
included/required ?
Looks like 'swiss knife for the hdds', and
even 'demo' can light some insights on
my storage drives.

which drives you would recommend for the home
storage. No need for 'super' speed, just cool
reliable data stash with 24/7 access [ but not
constant read/write heavy load].

Have a few of "Hitachi HUA", and first one failed a year ago
[ i don't have a time to diagnose it], and i can
say they [ 7200] got really hot and loud.

I like those 'LP' and 'Green' that is quiet and cool
drives.
