Rosewood without Label?

June 11th, 2018, 13:29

Anyone else ever see a Rosewood with the metalic seal and no label? I don't see signs of a label being removed. So, unless they did a very good job of taking it off cleanly, I'm thinking that it was sold this way...in a go flex thin enclosure.

Here is an image of it. https://www.recoveryforce.com/rosewood-no-label/

The enclosure suggests that it is a 1TB drive, yet the ROM shows 2TB with a SN starting with WBZ, one that I cannot find to exist.

Any thoughts?

yeah...just found the SN on the bottom to match. Internally has 3 heads. But, still not sure whether it is a 1TB drive (enclosure label) or 2TB drives (capacity in ROM).

I do not know if this information helps, but I have a ST1000LM035 1RK172-568 with the serial number started in WC0 and with 3 heads.
