Whats the best way to deal with bad sectors in hard drive?

June 18th, 2018, 13:06

My hard drive used to have a bit of freeze on opening some of the files so I decided to run a chkdsk /f via CMD. That converted my disc to dynamic somehow and it wouldnt even let me boot to windows. Anyway after installing EaseUS partition master I was able to turn my hard drive back to basic and be able to boot to windows with it.
However now the problem is I can not back it up or even open some of the files without a huge freeze. I am now doing bad sector check up on it via EaseUS partition again but the remaining time has stuck on 695 hours or apx a full month for it to finish working. I was hoping if there is a better way to deal with this and be able to keep my data?
