The initial problem of the disc was a blow while it worked. The heads are fine, I've tried them on another disk and they work, but the plates are a little marked just outside.

Uff, hard case.........

Previously you were able to identify it in kernel mode. Follow the same steps (isolate PCB or short-circuit TV9-TV10 until you reach it) then follow the steps above or manual loading as indicated by spildit

If you can't get the disk ready you won't be able to apply them.

mhp666, I would like to know the answer to a question (and no offense)

You spend $3,800 +/- on a tool and don't know how to solve a slow response problem in WD? why?

I have the mrtlab online.

The hard drive I'm trying to recover is to do a favor for a friend who does not have the money to pay for a data recovery.

And I'm trying to enter this world, but since there is so little information, I'm gradually making my manuals.

I have done practices deleting and recostruyendo the SA of HDD. But I need a little more time.

Greetings.

Excuse me, but I don't understand anything,

You say you did practice removing and rebuilding SA from a disk and don't know how to get to kernel mode on a drive (WD)?

How can this be?? So I guess I'm the one who missed a lot of classes......

Your friend, sooner rather than later, will regret putting the drive into your hands.....

The dishes have scratches as shown in the picture. Right on the periphery.
I have not removed the plates to check the lower ones yet.
I'm looking at how to make housings with transparent slots to see the movement of the components. I'll show you already.

Better a garbage can to throw away all the drives that pass through your hands......

It'll be more useful.

I have placed the heads of a disk wd10jpvx.
The reading speed is very good.
It still gives me problems but I will continue tomorrow. I give you an image.
Colanco If what you pretend is that I feel bad. You've got it.
Greetings.

If you have the latest version, enter again in kernel mode and disable the 411 module ( if you have this model)---> off/on -----> identification in normal mode ----->>(already automatically loads module 11) ------> solve slow responding problem -----> off/on -----> ok.

If the model does not have a 411 module, you will have to load module 11 by hand, you have many options, but believe me, it is simple, it is done daily (1st week of the first DR course).

Then you will have to deal with sectors and encryption (if you have one)....

Totally agree, and do not remember to enable module 411 in the end :)

PList seems to be correct.
But the ZONE ALLOCATION TABLE is wrong.

Re: Problem wd7500bmvw-11ajgs2

For Western Digital hard drives, it often appears the situation that disk can not be ready due to long time busy status, or the disk can be ready, but when there is a data interaction, the disk turns into busy status and can not be ready again.

The conventional method is to close the entry of system area or add defects to system area, and then load LDR to obtain the normal reading and writing access; What's more, we can also use "Disable 02 module" function to obtain the reading and writing access of system area. However, these methods have their own limitations. For example, sometimes it is difficult to find needed LDR; On many new models, "Disable 02 module" function can not effectively obtain the reading and writing access of system area. And this is the time we need to use our new function of "Disable 411 module", using this method to repair new Western Digital hard drives' firmware problems can be much more effective.

@colanco Seems you have already used our new function of "Disable 411 module", which is really easy in operation and powerful in function;

And we have online training and real-site seminar to help users to master disk repair and data recovery, if you are interested in, you can contact us.

I explain the steps of firmware that I have made.
I remove the HDD PCB.
power on -> disable module 411 -> power off
I put the HDD PCB.
power on -> Resolve slow response -> power off
power on -> enable module 411 -> power off
Correct detection

In my case if I did not remove the HDD board, I could not deactivate module 411, I preferred this to the short circuit, since with the isolated PCB it managed the ROM modules without problems.

It is indeed a module of the ROM.
In my case I had to remove the hard disk board to disable the module 411.
In other cases it is not necessary.
Leaving the plate isolated takes a few minutes to enter RDY.
It was a great idea that gave me ddrecovery.

Greetings.

It may be that the module is in the SA, but that you deactivate it in the ROM.
I do not want to give a lot of data in case I'm wrong I'm short on knowledge.

Is this a joke ?

If you remove the PCB and if you disable module 411 with the PCB without any drive how the hell does MRT writes to SA to disable module 411 ?

Unless that function is changing something in ROM like changing FW zones the procedure doesn't make much sense ....

@mhp666 your process is correct, and there are simpler methods--short circuit or use jumpers, after disk ready, then disable module 411.

Disable module 411 wont write SA, why are you so sure that it needs to write SA? Did you have a try? I did try on both PC3k and MRT, PC3k not yet has this function, but MRT does.

Yes, the truth does nothing new but it makes the process much simpler. It's a good function.

There are some interesting things in this new update. Good job.

The difference with PC3K is still important, but with serious upgrades like this, the distance is getting shorter
