Broken Seagate F3 ROM chip

September 4th, 2018, 15:23

Seagate F3 ROM chip, a client tried a DIY job at removing the chip and broke off one of the legs. There is a slight crack on the top if the chip which may preclude data recovery. I have tried searching for how this chip is assembled but cannot find anything. I have also taken another identical chip apart, but still cannot find where this leg terminated inside the chip. There is no part of the leg still showing inside the chip.

Anyone know how these legs terminate?
