Hello,

Sorry if this is in the wrong category.

I'm looking to change careers and move into Data Recovery and eventually set up a company offering this service.

I currently have access to the Comptia A+ course so that will increase my knowledge of hard drives and how they work.

Can anyone suggest the best ways to start learning recovery, I'm in no rush and work full time so will only be learning and practicing in the evenings and weekends and will start off as a hobby.

I will buy some broken hard drives and stuff to practice on but can anyone recommend any websites or videos to help guide me through the recovery process.

I would like to learn to do it on all hard drives, phones, tablets etc.

I understand it's not a 5 minute job but do have technical experience (Not computer related but hands on stuff) so am very hands on, know about 12v systems and soldering etc.

Any information and advice will be helpful thanks
