head swap st3500418as

Hi guys, I have a hdd seagate barracuda 7200.12
sn 6vm386he
st3500418as
p / n p9sl142-621
hp22 firmware, with damaged heads,
I ran a swap from this hdd I had in the laboratory: seagate barracuda 7200.12
s / n 9vmkwa2
st3500418as
p / n 9sl142-302
cc38 firmware
mounting the heads aligned itself regularly and I started the copy, and I managed to copy 250 GB of 500 but then the copy stopped suddenly. By switching off the hard disk and turning it on again, he clicked. Question: do you think the head is broken again because it is not perfectly compatible? or was this also to die?
Thanks so much
