Seagate ST1000LX015
After patching and writing ROM to drive, drive stays BSY, error in terminal: Verify ALF FW Signature failed
PC3K 6.3.15
Patching non-SSHD Rosewoods has been fine for me, this is the first SSHD Rosewood (LX) that I'm working with, and no luck.
Any ideas please?

Hi Mike, thanks for the reply. I'm managing to work with it, albeit slowly, without patching ROM, so I'll see how I go. Cheers.

Managed to get a good recovery of his user profile after a bit of fiddling with timeouts etc. Hoping for a solution for the rest of us plebs to patching these ROMs.

We have here one ST2000LX001
it is detected as Rosewood_8C
terminal is locked as usual and applying the patch with PC-3000 very last version 6.5.19 returns a succeed message ... but that is a fake
the TS says this is not yet supported
do you kindly have any alternative?
The drive acts as been seen many times with first generation of ST SSHDs , the drive doesn't spin but ID is detected. Looks an MCTM issue that requires some clean/flush
thank you for any
