Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Hello!
Drive in topic came to me after it has been opened twice in two other places.
After managing to clean the top side from dust and fingerprints I have surprised that some one has changed the native PCB (ROM + NVRAM).
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
