One of my customer has send lots of 4 TB WD purple surveillance hard disks. Most of them have smart / reallocated count issues.
How can I refurbish them using PC3000 ? Client insists to use them in non critical application instead throwing in garbage and is ready to take all risks which I have explained to him.
Appreciate if someone just outlines the process.
Thank you.

Hi spildit Thanks a lot.
Actually disk has more problems than bad blocks like SA defects , smart failure and module corruption.May be disk has large surface defects too.
I am giving up as its is taking too much time.
Thanks again.
