Hello everybody!!
I used qunlock (stays for quantum unlock) on my maxtor DiaMax Plus9 80GB and got it permanently locked...

Qunlock is a patch born to unlock quantum hard drive used in tivo and locked by tivo itself when power down and unlocked by tivo itself on powerup.
If bad used on Maxtr last large drives it damages them (I discovered it too late): if used one time on a locked drive it unlocks it, if used on an unlocked drive it lock it undefinitly. It has modified something in the hdd firmware for sure...
My drive now displays 9MB, correct serial, correct model. The only problem seems to be the capacity.

I am not too interested in data recovery but I would save my drive; can anybody help me (I am a new new newbie).
