Hello guys. This is my first question on this wonderful forum, where i come to learn a lot for little more than a year now.
I really want, first of all, put in words my thanks for every single answer anyone here donates a time to give. I'm trying to improve myself to do the same later.
Got my hands on a MRT PRO only two months ago and i'm deeply trying to study everything i can about hdd firmwares.
So.. talking about learning and improve myself, my friend gave to me this WD10TMVW-11ZSMS5 just for study purposes (data isn't important). Running it on WDC Marvel USB tool on MRT it ID's perfectly, and gives the next issue:

Trying to do a heads test, i had this print:

And i'm a little stuck... guess I have to find a LDR file to upload to this ROM, but i'm not sure. If anyone here could help me, it would be really appreciated.

First I would convert it to a SATA PCB.

After, block SA access, load a loader, and check for functionality of all heads.
Probably one or more heads are dead.

I think that to work with that HDD you should first convert it to SATA, in order to work better with the MRTLAB.
To do this you must get a SATA PCB compatible with the USB PCB you have and pass the ROM to the new PCB.
Personally, I have never taken an HDD directly connected by USB with the MRTLAB.

Thanks a lot for the readiness guys. I think i have the WD PCB compatible with this one. Tomorrow i'll try and come with the results.

Came here tothankyou guys. It worked .. head nº 3 had failed the test.. I will try to image disabling it to see what happens.
