What do you mean by "detect problem" doesn't ID at all ? Does ID but doesn't scan LBA ?

Do you have any sort of firmware tool to play with the drive firmware ? At least something like SeDiv or SHTR ?

Did you check PCB ? Did you check if there are other problems like junky PSU ?

Does the drive click or make strange noises ? When you power on the drive do you ear the heads moving to read MC ? DO NOT OPEN THE DRIVE ...

etc .. etc ....

More info would be required.

MRT is kind of "Junk" to work with Samsung .... If you don't have PC-3000 the best that you can try is SHTR ...

Register status show what ? BSY ? Error ?

Can you enter terminal commands like pressing ESC ?

Do you have identical model to hot swap ?

Can you test MC with MRT ? Can you access MC and backup modules and ROM with MRT or drive is stuck at BSY, etc ?

In terminal ONLY DBG mode, and no any other access

Even if you press "esc" ? Even if you remove PCB from the drive ? Even with drive is safe mode ?

If so try another PCB ?
